Activities of Daily Living ( ADL):

The activities a person performs throughout the day, such as dressing, hygiene, toileting, cooking, etc.


Aquired Brain Injury:

An injury to the brain that occurs after birth, including lack of oxygen to the brain, brain bleed, infection, stroke , tumor, or traumatic brain injury (TBI, see below)


ADHD/ADD:

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a brain disorder
marked by an ongoing pattern of inattention and/or
hyperactivity-impulsivity that interferes with functioning or
development.
